Champions Center

The Champions Center will serve as the nucleus of every student-athlete's time at WSU. From one-on-one tutoring sessions in the academic center,  professional development workshops, or privately visiting a counselor about their mental health, they will find it in the Champions Center. Currently, our staff and resources are spread across two buildings (Bohler Athletic Complex and Physical Education Building).

In January 2023, the Board of Regents voted to move forward with the design phase of the project. On Nov. 4, 2023, a Champions Center Celebration event took place at the Bohler Athletic Complex Galleria on the WSU campus. The event can be viewed on the WSU Athletics YouTube channel.

A renovated Champions Center will centralize the staff into one building as well as open up the academic, mental, and professional development space, which is critical to reaching their full potential. A renovation will address the holistic wellbeing of each and every one of our 450+ student-athletes with:

  • Academic resources
  • Mental health services
  • Professional development

The cost of the facility will be covered entirely by philanthropic support. If you are interested in learning more about the Champions Center project and how you can assist, please visit HERE to make a contribution or email us at athletics.caf@wsu.edu or call 877-IMA-COUG.
