2024 State of the University Address

Higher education is at a critical juncture, facing unprecedented challenges and increased scrutiny from all sides. At Washington State University, we are not just weathering the storm; we are charting a course for excellence and innovation that will bolster the future of education in Washington and beyond.

President Kirk Schulz invites faculty, staff, and students to attend the 2024 State of the University address online or in person as he and Chancellor Paul Pitre reflect on the last year across the system and consider the opportunities ahead. Remarks will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Faculty Senate Chair Eric Shelden, who will pose questions submitted in advance as well as those asked during the address.
